Public Note:
Cap to 48 cm across, broadly umbonate, cap surface moist but not viscid, rugose-wrinkled at center, radially rough-rivulose outwards; dark navy-blue. Margin becoming translucent-striate. Gills moderately close, sinuate or not, deep, nearly free. Pallid dingy pinkish become blotched with blue-gray. Stipe 45 mm long, 6 mm wide. Vertically striate, beautiful metallic navy blue to gray-blue. Odor indistinct. Taste indistinct. Heavy moss layer under Nothofagus.
