Public Note:
Cap 65 mm wide. Cap tightly convex at first, expanding to plane or with a very diffuse low, broad, umbo. Surface dry to moist, smooth with obscure, tightly apressed, radiating fibrils. Yellow-green to grass green, becoming more orangey in blotches and more extensively yellow in age, retaining aqua-green or grass green tones in band around margin of cap. Gills broadly attached, subdistant, deep, widely spaced to subdistant. Very pallid beige at first, then clay tan developing yellow and ochre tones. Margins distinctly pale. Stipe 40-70 x 5-16 mm. Surface whitish with aqua or grass green bands and diffuse tones, becoming yellower to beige in age, with yellow areas of fibrils. Partial veil cortinate, but with subtle layer of slime just below. Flesh pallid beige, stipe developing central hollow. Odor indistinct. Taste indistinct. KOH slowly light orange on cap, odd washed out pallid vinaceous brown on stipe.
