Very smalll collections. DNA ex fresh specimen in buffer

PDD 60117 (D799), PDD 61837 (D878) and PDD 119509 (D1947) are the same species, found on partly rotten Nothofagus leaves, and sister to PDD 119504 (D2484) on Phormium leaf. All have coarse, dark coloured hairs and hair-like elements across the hymenium. Phylogenetically similar is PDD 70096; see notes under Aeruginoscyphus.

Public Note:
When fresh apothecia 1-2 mm diam., sessile, dark brown disc with matted, coarse, rough-looking hairs, surface of hymenium also dark brown. Yellow/green pigment diffuses into KOH. Spores about 10-14 x 3.5-4, radially symmetrical, fusoid, taper to acute ends, 0-septate, hyaline. Hairs thick-walled, ?finely encrusted near base.
