Specimen notes
Public Note:
This stubble of winter wheat cv. Stephens was collected after two years of cultivated fallow, about 34 months after the crop was harvested. The fallow was minimally tilled, leaving large amounts of straw at the soil surface. The existing crop of winter wheat cv. Stephens was planted in September 1994 and, in April 1995, exhibited symptoms of physiological leaf spot.
