Specimen notes
Public Note:
Requires images. The photos in the packet are of a pale cream to pinkish buff coloured species. In E. corneum the pileus is described as brown/fuliginous. Sequence a singleton. 4-spored, Spores 14-18x6-8um, 6-7 angled. No cystidia. PP unclamped, with brown plasmatic pigment. E. corneum has large spores, but here they are considerably larger (like Pouzarella group). I think the lack of cystidia, the very large spores, and pale cap colour excludes E. corneum
