Public Note:
The ITS sequence for this material shows it to be the same as several collections identified as E. persimile. Those collections are characterised by a pileus with a depressed centre and clavate cheilocystidia. None show the morphology of E. deprensum which has a convex, nearly mycenoid cap, and cheilocystidia with an elongate neck and capitate. The photo of E. deprensum on p61 os Shirely's 2019 guide is doubtfully E. deprensum.
