sessile white apothecium sitting on white subiculum (immediately surrounding individual apothecia, not across several) with yelllowish hym; excip long-celled, mycelial elements, more or less parallel, walls thin, non-gelat, hyaline, end cells of elements more or less free, vacuoles with yellow pigment in KOH + Melzers (no sign of pigment macroscopically); asci large, clavate, apex barely thickened, with small J+ pore extending all way through; spores around 14-18 x 4-6 um (a bit immature?), 1-septate, slightly constricted at septum, hyaline.
