small yellow disc with quite broad stipe; hairs with dark brown crystals (deep yellow-brown in water), disc more or less urceolate when dry; hairs about 80 x 3 um; excip cells cylindric (about 12-17 x 5-7 um), thickwalled; asci about 60-70 x 6 um, taper suddenly to small subtruncate apex; paraphyses sublanceolate, extend 10-15 um betond asci, 3 um daim, tapering to small rounded apex; ascospores radially symmetrical, tapering to small ropunded apices, 23-24 x 1.5-2, row of round vacuolates down length of the spores
