Specimen notes
Public Note:
The material has dried dark sparling violet which is very unlike the fresh material shown in the photo. The cheilocystidi are unusual for Entoloma and long necked. The hymenium is ramified through with hyphae that are the most intense magenta in KOH, fading to blue. Very conspicuous. The spores are typical Entoloma. The dried materail looks like E. crinita.
