Public Note:
Very dark discs, no sign of anamorph fruiting bodies, globose conidia in culture (see ICMP 23408). Paraphyses swollen suddenly to clavate apex, asci taper gradually to subtruncate apex, wall thick, faint J+ pore extending all way through wall, flaring slightly to outside, 8-spored; ascospores 15-22 x 4.5-6 µm, flat one side, sometimes slightly curved, taper to rounded ends, 0-septate (but perhaps a little immature and some spores starting to form 3 septa?). ITS distinct
