Public Note:
ITS sequences slightly different from the NZ Lachnopsis cf lanariceps specimens, matching several other specimens all with a similar arrangement to the hymenium , with a tuft of hairs in the centre. The ascospores are smaller than L. cf. lanariceps (12-17 µm long rather than >20µm long), host either Cyathea of Dicksonia. The spore size matches L. cf pteridophyllum but genetically distinct.
