Public Note:
Small, stipitate, concolorous yellow discs with shortish yellow hairs with red exudate. Dry, pale yellow-brown hairs, red exudate, margin inrolled over the hymenium, leaving a small pore-like opening at centre. Excipulum of cylindric cells about 4-7 x 9-12 µm, thin walls. Paraphyses 1.5-2 µm, increasing up to 2-2.5 µm about the top od the asci, then tapering to rounded apex about 5-10 µm above asci. Asci 40-50 x 5-5.5 µm, more or less cylindric, tapering suddenly to small, subtruncate apex, wall thickened slightly at apec with J+ pore extending all way through the wall, pore flaring slightly to outside; with croziers. Ascospores 9.5-12.5 x 1.5-2.5 µm (average 10.5 x 2.0 µm), oblong-elliptic, tapering slightly to the rounded ands, more or less straight and symmetrical, 0-septate.
