Public Note:
[WMD] This medium sized light creamy-tan Entoloma has a broadly conical cap with a small darkened quite flat central papilla. The cap surface is smooth with a sulcate margin. The gills are narrowly attached at the base only, pulling away from the stipe. The stipe is silky white with an expanded base. The cap size is 30-50 mm in diameter and 70-90 mm in height. The stipe is 3-5 mm increasing to 6-8 mm at the base. Growing on the ground in remnant podocarp forest with broadleaf (totara/kaihikatea/rimu). [JAC:25/10/2023] sequence says not E. distinctum
