Public Note:
[WMD] Small Entoloma with dark squamulose cap with raised tufts and fibrous purple stipe. Gills cream turning pink with a concolorous gill edge. Fruit body size 23 mm in diameter and 40 mm in height. Cap flat but maturing with an upturned margin. Growing amongst bryophytes in remnant podocarp forest with broadleaf and tea tree nearby. Cheilocystidia fusoid , some with pointed extended apex, up to about 70 micron in length. With those cheilocystidia keys out around E. acuminatum (but no papilla) or E. brunneolilacinum (cheilocystidia much larger) or E. porphyrescens (gills wrong colour and cheilocystidia not capitate).
