Public Note:
trying to sort out Enthallopycnidium from Trichothallus. The first growth on fresh leaves seems to be this enthallopycnidium. The colonies have spreading fingers and no setae. Later the same leaves do develop Trichothallus. It has setate and the colonies have more rounded spreading lobes than the finger like extensions of the Enthallopycnidium. See also material in 17272.
