Specimen notes
Public Note:
same as PDD 111996. Note there are 4 versions of guepinioides and sister to flabelliformis and C. sinensis. The former described from WA and the latter from the Antipodean islands. The former described as palmate, although originally also described as red-brown, with subglobose seconadry conidia. For McNabb it is always spathulate 1-3 septate spores and with clamp connections. D. flabelliformis described as spathulate to flabelliform, but also clamped. The secondary condia are spherical. The similarity to guepinioides was not mentioned. Jac11202 is D. flabelliformis sensu stricto - with the type strain. Dacryopinax spathulaia lacks clamps and has 1-septate spores.
