with beech. Occasional locules. Gleba relatively dry and not as glutinous as most although very elastic. But with small internal stem strongly gelatinous. Skin thick and relatively tough. Not discolouring with bruising. Not hysterangium-like. No odour. Taste slightly acidic. Sequence says a singleton in eburnea/nelson/kepler group
