[PdL] Uncommon. Occasional specimens noted emerging through masses of Leucobryum javense under rawiri (Kunzea linearis) / kahikatoa (Leptospermum scoparium s.l.) and tanekaha (Phyllocladus trichomanoides). Fruiting body pale lemon yellow where exposed otherwise cream to white, rather woody and difficult to extract from the earth - seemingly attached to roots - though of what plant I could not say.
