Public Note:
[CFS] Cap 10-28 mm across, round-conic to broadly convex with a variably pronounced umbo. Surface dry to moist, smooth, not obviously hygrophanous. Margin entire, opaque. Dingy apricot to dull orange to coppery. Gills subdistant, finely attached. Dingy orangey-tan. Stipe 35-45 mm tall. 3.5-6.5 mm thick. Dingy whitish to beige, lower 1/4 with rosy blush. Partial veil silky-fibrillose cortina, superior. Fibrils reddish, forming an obvious band/zone even after collapsing. Odor indistinct. Taste indistinct. KOH very dark reddish-brown on cap and stipe. Fruiting in a cluster in moss under Nothofagus.
