[NS] Scattered on decaying log, in mixed broadleaf forest. Cap 17-18 mm across (unopened buttons 4-10 mm across), dry, granular when young, wrinkled in age, stipe 19-33 mm long, 2-4 mm thick, partial thin, granular coating one scant cortina, leaving an annular zone on stipe, flesh thin, whitish to beige, stipe stuffed with whitish pith, stipe ext pale orangish. [JAC] with athrospores.
