[NS ]Clavulina (large tangled mass) . In large troop, mostly from moss, under beech . 49-105 mm high overall, in fused clusters, 31-105+ mm across, stipe 18-40 mm long, 4-8 mm thick, orangish, branches smoky, tips tan to ochre, taste indistinct.
