Cap 19-35 mm across, slightly tacky to moist, stipe 39-61 mm long, 4-5.5 mm thick, solid to hollow in age, odor and taste indistinct, KOH dark brown on cap, orange-brown on flesh, to dark brown in stipe base, brown on stipe ext. UV light orangish brown
