[NS ]Cortinarius (yellow, dry) . Scattered in duff under beech . Cap 26-35 mm across, dry, stipe 41-67 mm long, 4-5 mm thick at apex, dry, clavate, with a swollen base, odor slight, of carrots, taste mild, KOH orange-brown on all parts but cap flesh, which is dark brown.
