Public Note:
[NS ]Cortinarius (sect. purpurescente?). Scattered in duff under beech . Cap 37-50 mm across, viscid, stipe 32-49 mm long, 8-10 mm thick at apex, bulb abrupt, with flattened top, and abrupt base, stipe and especially bulb staining violet when handled, odor and taste indistinct, Koh brown on all parts.
