[NS ]In troops on tree fern bases and stumps. Cap 9-23 mm across, viscid, gray-blue when young, more greenish blue, and some developing pink tones in age. Stipe 12-45 mm long, 2-4 mm thick, greenish blue at apex, yellowish at base, viscid, gills decurrent, edges geltinous. Odor and taste indistinct. [JAC] dried pink
