Public Note:
[NS] Scattered in moss, on trail bank, in mixed broadleaf-podocarp forest. Cap 4-7 mm across, stipe 7-10 mm long, 1-1.5 mm thick at apex, tapered downward, no odor. Flesh brittle. Maybe Rhodocybe, or similar? Whatman card [JAC] small hyaline subglobose spores, 3.2um, with refractive walls but smooth, and strongly dextrinoid particles - resinous? Abundant long lageniform cystidia slightly spathulate at apex. No idea. ITS/LSU sister to Cuphophyllus & Cantharocybe in Hygrohoraceae. No tissue green in KOH - this might have been a candidate for Horak's NZ records of Clavomphalia. See also Rhodocybe sp. 'Rotoatua (PDD 113495)'
