Public Note:
[NS] partially exposed, most buried in soil, under beech.14-28 mm across, 13-20 mm high, peridium pink, cracking some when mature, staining reddish brown slowly (hour) when bruised. Peridium peeling when scraped, gleba olive, with whitish-translucent columella, which is an elongate basal pad, with radiating veins, no odor, taste indistinct.
