[NS] Solitary from soil, under beech. Cap 89 mm across, sticky viscid, stipe viscid at base, 121 mm long, 17 mm thick at apex, clavate, 24 mm thick at base, no odor, taste strongly bitter. Bitter taste lingers for a long time.
