Public Note:
[NS] Solitary in moss under beech. Cap 61 mm across, slightly tacky, covered with tightly appressed scales. Stipe 49 mm long, 12 mm thick, white, not staining, flesh white, tough (not brittle), solid. Taste acrid, odor indistinct.
