Public Note:
On sooty mould infested tree. Spores length=5.6-6.6µm (µ=5.8, σ=0.39), width=3.2-4.0µm (µ=3.6, σ=0.28), Q=1.4-1.8µm (µ=1.60, σ=0.16), n=6. Without rhizoids. Pileus entirely covered in cream tomentum. Pilocsytidia few, brown, thin-walled. H. nothofaginea seems to have consistently yellowing lamellae with age.
