Public Note:
[NS] Cortinarius (pallid short pouch). Scattered in duff, mostly buired, under beech. Cap 12-20 mm across, covered with thick glutin (~1 mm thick), stipe 2-6 mm long, 5-12 mm thick, lilac tones developing in fruitbody, flesh whitish with lilac in stipe, developing lilac tones in age. No odor, taste mild. Old, decayed specimens where shells of 'slime' coating on caps, with rotton cores. [JAC] surprisingly the sequence says C. violaceovolvatus
