[NS] Cortinarius 'brown with rusty-red specks on stipe'. Growing clustered on soil in beech forest. Caps dry. 18-42mm across. Stipe 36-45mm long. Stipe apex3-5mm thick. Equal. Reddish-brown staining when bruised. No odor. Taste indistinct to mild [JAC] C. sclerophyllarum cf.
