Specimen notes
Public Note:
Two species sympatric in this collection. Some apothecia with a tuft of hairs in the centre of the hymenium - these presumably Lachnopsis sp "circular hym", ascospore sizes confirm this - 12.5-17 x 1.5-2 µm (avge 14.7 x 1.7 µm) for 'circular hym'; 16.5-23 x 1.5 -2 µm (avge 19.7 x 1.8 µm ) for the other apothecia. The sequenced culture was from an apothecium without the circular hymenium.
