Sessile, superficial disc, perhaps developing beneath thin clypeus-like layer; hymenium embedded in gel, para gradually swiollen to apex, asci subclavate, J+, 45-55 x 8-9.5 um, 8-spored; spores 9-11.5 x 2.5-3.5 um, elliptic, tapering to narrow rounded ends, 0-septate, hyaline, radially symmetrical, surrounded by gel sheath 1.5-2 um thick. Same as PDD 82919. Hymenoscpyhus sp. "tiny red" present on same leaves
