Specimen notes
Public Note:
[WMD] Gliophorus with a greenish coloured cap with some yellow/orange colour. The gills are adnate with a small decurrent tooth and are turquoise to aquamarine in colour. The stipe is purplish at the apex and somewhat greenish in the middle and yellow towards the base. This fruit body was 2.9 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest. Another of the annoying Gliophorus viridis-like mushrooms which doesn't quite match the descibed colour for this species but has similar micro characters. No gelatinous gill edge or cystidia seen. Spores about 9 x 5 micron. [JAC] Why not G. viridis? Dried ornage. Material quite dirty.
