Specimen notes
Public Note:
[GS] roups of small brown mushrooms growing in soil beneath a large fir tree. Cap size up to 20 mm across. [JAC] It has smooth amygdaliform spores and metuloid cystidia with apical crystals, so something near griseolilacina is a possibility. It is a bit dark however. Sequence says same as some collections from NZ with Pinus and near material labelled griseolilacna, pusio and pyrotricha. However grisseolilacina and pusio are also represented in GenBank by unrelated sequences.
