[GS] Growing on a small rotting log in a modified habitat. Caps to 22 mm across, whitish but covered with dark brown squamules/scales. Gills white, uncrowded, joined to stem. Stems similar colour to caps, scaly looking. [JAC] pileipells a broad clamped cutis with hydropid vesicles. Spores inamyloid. Cap edge entire
