Public Note:
Subiculum absent. Outer surface hairy, thin-walled, thin hair-like apex not circinate, base swollen. Inner surface fertile. spores varable length=12.1-16.5µm (µ=14.4, σ=1.34), width=4.4-5.8µm (µ=5.0, σ=0.36), Q=2.4-3.5µm (µ=2.86, σ=0.28), n=20. 4-spored (maybe some 2 with this size range), hyphae clamped. No tissue amyloid or dextrinoid. Pileus hyphae not coralloid (not Calyptella). Outer hairs with crystals towards the base. The types of Lachnella pyriformis and turbinata require re-examination. Note Henningsomyces, Calyptela and Hispidocalyptela do not have crystals. Potentially incrustocalyptella. LSU with Cheimonophyllum and cyphella
