Public Note:
[GS] Mushrooms growing in silty soil alongside a paved walkway on the banks of the river. The white caps, measuring up to 80 mm across, had at least partially expanded before pushing up through the soil. Gills pink, crowded, free of stem, darkening with age. Stems short, with a prominent ring, and mostly below the soil surface. [JAC] Cheilocystidia infrequent and barely distinguishable from basidia. Very rare large pleurocystidia. Spores length=5.3-6.1µm (µ=5.6, σ=0.21), width=4.0-4.7µm (µ=4.3, σ=0.22), Q=1.2-1.4µm (µ=1.30, σ=0.08), n=20
