Public Note:
[GS] Growing on the trunk of a kanuka tree. Cap 20 cm across, tending to roll under at the margin. Gills creamy-white and highly decurrent. {JAC] The spores are 12um long, there is not skeletal tissue and the gills have dried a cream/yellow colour. This is the brown version of P. australis.
