Specimen notes
Public Note:
[WMD] Golden-brown Hygrocybe with bright yellow gills (fading to lemon-yellow) and bright yellow stipe. The cap surface appears fibrous. Growing up to 2.2 cm in diameter. Gill attachment adnexed. Growing amongst sub-alpine cushion plants alongside the track in damp braided river habitat. [JAC] Found something like this on sand dunes on the foray. There is a photo, supposedly of this, in Don Horne's little book, except that appears to be growing from tree-fern stumps and looks more like a Mycena.
