Public Note:
[PdL] On sodden clay bank within flood line of forest stream. growing amongst exposed roots of mapou (Myrsine australis) under a dense canopy of rawirinui (Kunzea robusta). Fruiting bodies mostly in pairs rarely solitary. Stipe stout, tapering to pileus, covered in pale flakes, gills white, pileus surface white to dirty white and usually darker centrally. [JAC] 4-spored. Material not good enought to pursue.
