Specimen notes
Public Note:
[CH] Hypomyces (chrysosperum) [JAC] Spores to 20 x 5 and colony green which would suggest H. tulasneanus. However, this material forms globose yellow sepedonium aleuriospores in culture (to 15um). There are no ampulliconidia (bottle-shaped). It is unfortunate we don't know the host. It probably isn't S. chrysosperum, restricted to Xeromus, or S. chacipori, but maybe S. microspermum.
