4-spored. Spores hyaline, smooth, globose. [JAC:11/06/2025] unclamped, spores Length: µ=5.2 µm, σ=0.39; Width: µ=4.6 µm, σ=0.27; Q: µ=1.14, σ=0.08; V: µ=56.4 µm^3, σ=9.67: n=20, spores smaller than Petersen's NZ concept. Note that Corners measurements of the type of zollingeri suggest Q closer to 2 and larger (and apparently a Clavulinopsis). This is closer to Clavaria nymaniana (1898) type also from Java. C. The identity of C. lilacina must be treated with suspicion because it was on wood, as pointed out by Corner.
