Specimen notes
Public Note:
Possibly tokena or the non apricot apricota. There were 4 species of Tricholoma growing together here. This one distinguished by white/grey gills which are heavily spotted. Possibly enlarged ring zone, but not enough material to say. Cap quite slime relative to yellow gilled species. Stem flesh not stained orange/brown where damaged. The similar species from here has yellowish gills (JAC13753), consistently from being small. No smell, taste very mealy. Sequence not good. Needs a repeat. Both ITS and LSU not near apricota or tokena and in whakapapa group
