associated alga consisting of small balls (granulose), i.e. botrydina, and not flakes of coriscium (squamulose). Most species have botrydina and few coriscium (L. tasmanica, hudsoniana and lobata). This collection same as jac12778. unclamped. 4-spored. Spores of the type that change shape after relase (become longer/thinner), and are variable in size. Basidia with a basal clamp. No cystidia seen. Caulocystidia as fascicles of erect cylindrical hyphae. Stem entirely finely pruinose. Cap an interwoven cutis, no encrusting pigment. spores length=7.2-9.1µm (µ=7.9, σ=0.56), width=3.0-3.9µm (µ=3.6, σ=0.25), Q=2.0-2.7µm (µ=2.22, σ=0.20), n=14
