Specimen notes
Public Note:
the type collection is apparently mixed. This does not look like Stevenson's painting, which looks more like a Prunulus or possibly what I have called G. villosipes. Cap has zebroid encrusted clamped hyphae to 8um. Occasional brown bumps. No cystidia. Spores ellipsoid 5um Trama brown encrusted, possibly dextrinoid. Spores and cystidia are incorrect for C. vinacea. This has same sequence as 12056 which is clearly in the micromphale group, and this is just a poor specimen.
