Public Note:
small, brown and with scaly stem! No white mycelium at stem base. Something not seen before and triggered by frost or usual species changed in response to frost? Has small, barely noticeable clamps on broad cap tissue. spores length=6.7-8.3µm (µ=7.5, σ=0.50), width=6.3-7.6µm (µ=7.0, σ=0.40), Q=0.9-1.2µm (µ=1.07, σ=0.06), n=15, spines 0.8um. Perhaps close to L. tetraspora sensu mcnabb pp with tea-tree, except spores and spines smaller. Needs a sequence. Parehaps ond of two existing tea-tree 'tetraspora' or something new.
