Public Note:
Clavulinopsis sensu lato but in NZ need to look under Ramariopsis laeticolor and Clavaria sulcata (Clavulinopsis sulcata). sulcata pinkish salmon to orange, 4-spored 6 x 6 (globose/subglobose), R. laeticolor red/orange, spores Q1.2-1.6). Other lookalikes are more yellow (amoena etc). The type of Ramariopsis is kunzei, the type of Clavulinopsis is sulcata. Sequences indicate Ramariopsis is correct name for most things except sulcata. The Garcia-Sandoval myotaxon paper using morphological characters in a phylogeny isn't good, as might be expected.
