Public Note:
blueing immediately and then black. Pores 0.5mm. Spore print olivaceous. Mild taste. Hymenium with oleiferous hypha, some yellow. Without cystidia. Basidia greyish (in melzers). spores 14 x 5um. Fits description except absence of cystidia and with beech. McNabb did record it with beech - but not in the protologue. However we know a beech collection and a tea-tree collection are identical from sequences.
